Saudi Arabia were held to a 1-1 friendly draw by Middle Eastern rivals Syria on Tuesday.
The match in Jeddah was a warm-up ahead of the Saudi's participation in this summer's World Cup finals in Germany.
Yasser Al Qahtani (pictured) gave The Arabian Knights the lead five minutes before the break.
The Syrians, however, earned a draw just before the break - thanks to an own goal from 2005 Asian Player of the Year Hamad Al Montashari.
Saudi's Brazilian boss Marcos Paqueta knows his side face a difficult task in Germany in June, with the team drawn in Group H alongside Spain, Ukraine and Tunisia.
