Its not kobe who talks about his practicing. Its people and players around him who say that. Kobe the day after winning the NBA championship in 2000 went and start practicing!!!!
Also look at AI. how many years did he miss the freakin playoffs in the weak eastern conference??? This year with carmelo, kenyon martin and the defensive presence marcus camby he got swept in the first round of the nba playoffs. Kobe WILLED a laker team that belonged to the CBA without him to the nba playoffs and not just as an 8th seed. If you watched the playoffs 2 years ago, the lakerswere one kwame (well its kwame!) rebound away from beating the suns.
The whole wearing the heart on the sleeve and pumping their chest thing is just a bunch of bologna!!! see who comes out and performes. That is what matters the most. Also i am not comapring Kobe with jordan. I am comparing Kobe to the other players of his generation and nobody else comes close

So you're telling me that a guy who values "practice" is a more likable character than a "gangsta" like Iverson even though he has made a routine of publicly berating his own teammates, running guys like Shaq out of town, pressuring his General Manager into making moves detrimental for the future of the team solely for his own pure selfish interests, continuously engaging in sexual infidelity, and then having the nerve to publicly demand his team to trade him? These traits mean nothing to you in judging the likability of a character?

the score is 40-32. This is mre rediculous officiating than game 1!!!! If I were phil jackson I would just rest the starters and wait for home court and game 3.

The celts have 15 to 8 advantage in fouls. a bench player powe in only 4 minutes of play got 9 free throws!!!!! The slightest touch is being called a foul and the called couple of quick ones on kobe. Then gasol gets fouled by KG and no call.

Come on phil just rest the starters. You cant beat the zebras

boston won tonights game before tipoff!! I am just hoping they havent won the next game right now. I stopped watchin the game early in the 3rd quarter when I noticed the celts had a 26-2 advantage in free throws!!!!!!!!! way to go zebras.

Powe has more points in this game than what he had against ucla when he was playing for cal lol!!
