the rest of america is doin it for me (journalists, broadcasters, players, coaches,etc...) no need for me to do it even though the officiating was still horrible. what was up with odom and radmanovic gettin 3 fouls each in the 1st quarter????
By the way I really enjoyed (or not!!) kwame brown sneaking into the game with a pau gasol mask

To me, that photo is an indication of a player who doesn't recognize when to give the ball up when his other teammates are obviously WIDE OPEN.

I'm not from LA. I was raised in the Bay Area and am a Warriors fan. Kobe is a great basketball player, but not so great of a loyal teammate or husband.

Anyways, heres a pic of me and the greatest Laker legend to ever live from 1992 in Maui, just a few months after he retired from the Lakers and announced he had HIV. We were on the same flight from LA to Maui with each other:

Yup, he's from Cupertino where I grew up.

Cupertino, sweet Cupertino. The home of Kurt Rambis and Apple Computer.

ok that explains the hatred. and NBA players are notorious for banging chics in the hundreds while beingmarried, kobe just got caught!! and dont forget kobe was babe magnet eversince he got to the league and it wasnt about money, it was about who he was.

as far as a teammate I am glad he is this way. as a "FAN" its refreshing to see a player is not just being happy about making money (sprewell, KG, AI, MELO and the list goes on and on) and cares about the game and the fans

                  1) No one knows how and when he got HIV. He could have contracted it before his marriage. Kobe's incident occurred while he was married. After a public apology where he was crying for forgiveness, and even getting a tattoo representing his committment to his wife, he was recently involved in another controversy with a Laker's cheerleader.

                  2) Who said Magic was in the first place?

                  3) I don't really give a damn what these guys do in their private lives as long as the effects don't hurt others. But as a teammate, Magic wasn't just the ultimate Laker, but he was also the ultimate sportsman, something which is lost on today's generation of NBA players.

dude you are too young for that era. magic was the ultimate a-hole as a teammate when it came to middle of the game situations. He would yell and cuss and give you a cold look that would give shiver down your spine, so was michael jordan but you know what?? that is how great players are. That is why they are champions and most others are not. That is why they were at the top almost the entire time. They never took a day off and they expected the same from their teammates.

That is a rare breed as players are too conscious about their image these days. I mean guys like KG.

Magic in 96 when he came back he got into a fight with everyone in the organization and even threatened to leave for miami to lay for riley

karimi has a similar picture vs ireland in 2001.....a lot of people said that's a great player who the opposition fears, but many others say wut babak said, a player who doesnt pass when many others are wide open

you just didnt compare karimi to kobe, did you????? I am gonna pretend you didnt say that.

As for the lakers tonight. This was the worse collapse in NBA history at least the history that I have seen and proves again that defense wins championships (where the hell is bynum??)

MOJO23, remember when I told you I never let my emotions overcome my logic??? well I am not blaming the refs for the tonights game. It was allllllll the lakers fault. But honestly even if the lakers ahd won in games 4 and 5. I just couldnt see them winning a game in boston. Lets wait for next year.
