With smith starting he can guard kobe or if you want martin to do it again put in kleiza, have him on vladamir, carmelo on lamar, and camby on gasol. Even though martin would be better on kobe, i would rather have smith on him so martin can guard gasol because camby is a terrible one on one defender. This is really tough saying this being a nuggets fan but he shouldnt be in the conversation of defensive player of the year. He leads the league in blocks but thats because the perimeter defense is so terrible that he gets so many chances to block shots, and he gets so many rebounds because the nuggets play so fast, it allows many more shots to be taken, which means more rebounds, and nobody on denver is their to contend for his rebounds. Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell, hell i hate him but even kobe, those are defenders.
Btw has anyone ever had an easier 36 points in NBA history than gasol today? Jesus christ
the only positive out of this is that people will finally see how much better iverson is than kobe (if only he can make a free throw)
shit that was the first time ive ever praised kobe (defense) and martin (defense on kobe) in my life, the first time ive ever said anything remotely negative about iverson (free throws) in my life, and the first time that ive ever dissed camby like this....wow...this was a life changing post for my guys

and im not conceding the series or anything, this was just a little motivation for us, but hypothetically if the lakers somehow move on, they arent gonna go very far at all without bynum, yall better prey he gets healthy because there is NO interior defense. You are lucky that martin and camby are the worst front court offensive duo in history (two guys making ****ing 8 digits who cant make a god damn layup to save their lives) so they cant really exploit it, but if Kleiza can tear you up like that, youve got problems. You guys did ok on anthony when he was penetrating but thats because you quadrouple teamed him...i seriously think some coach told melo when he was a kid that its illegal to pass the ball when youre in the paint...i dont think ive ever seen him do it. Its hilarious, sometimes there are four guys camping out on the 3 point line when all five defenders are in the lane guarding him and he goes in for the layup. ****ing rediculous.

The best laker team this year was the one in december with bynum and ariza when the lakers were winning (and winning big) by stifiling defense. Right now the win games by outscoring opponents which wont get you betond the conference finals ( ask the suns)
I am praying for bynum and ariza to come back for the conference finals. For this to happen I am hoping both laker series in the 1sta nd 2nd round goto 7 games!!!----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Rasho and Kapono played good, Parker was fairly nonexistant as was Bosh (good for the freethrows though), Calderon played poorly and TJ too (hes pretty shit if you ask me)
Bargnani was straight up awful... at one point the raptors were drifting by 8 and he had a wide open lane to layup or hell even dunk, he takes a shot and misses...if moon was in there he wouldve SLAMMED it down and the raps wouldve cut the lead down and been really pumped up!Go Cows!

Parker wasn't bad man, he played alright, the only problem i have with him is that sometimes he jacks up stupid shots..
Lets hope Raps are tighter on defense tonight, they can definently beat Orlando... some guys just need to step up.

man though loss for raptors 104-103 but man did they step up their game after the first quarter if they continue playing the same way against orlando for the rest of the series raptors will win in 6 or 7
Kapono - 20 points
Bosh - 29 points missed game winner
Calderon - 18 points, 5 assists great game for him
Delfino - 16 points
Bargnani hit a couple of big shots but didnt have a huge game

Well 2 down 2 to go for the Jazz to complete their sweep of the crotch rockets! This is EXACTLY what I meant when I told those rocket fans to wait till the playoffs when they were hyping up about their 22 win streak and saying they will win it all!!! somhow "I told ya so" doesnt quit say it all...
