Are there any football gods left?

I was thinking about it. Remember the old days of ronaldinho. Remember when zidane was the one and only?

    Who is it now?

C.ronaldo just falls down and gets penaltys thats how hes team win.

Messi is injured to much so you cant really say he is that go and even if he wasent injured he was nothing like old ronaldinho or zidane.

Makes you think if there is anyone out there that will be as good as ronaldinho or zidane was.

Yes after winning games like 3-0 or 4-0 (and only 6 penalties the entire season by Ronaldo)

That's coz most of the flash he did was not effective enough to get 30+ goals a season which started from 2006/7 Plus, because he was a foreigner, he was notorious for his diving between 2003 and 2006 - although every one dives in football just that Ronaldo's insane skills when he was a teen made people target him even more than say the odd tricks by *cough cough* Steven Gerraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard as well as players in Spain, Italy, and Portugal where Diving is more or less "accepted culture"

Basically, the media's darling is the football god of today - as it has always been.

Zidane was the best footballer in the last 10 years and only few folks have that bit in them. Same with Ronaldo before he busted his knee at Inter Milan.

Ronaldinho was flashy and brilliant yes, but it was only in the spell between 2004 and before WC2006 that he was effective with his skills. PSG were mid-table folks while Lyon were beginning their dominance when he was in France, it was at Barcelona where he had the team around him to become a success. It was after WC 2006 that he went down sadly.

if anything its better now because the best players are young. in 6/7 years can u imagine messi and ronaldo? they will be rediculously good granted they dont suffer massive injuries.

all the greats of the past peaked late 20s/early 30s. now its kids who are running the show

yea i constantly hate this fact too... that there are no more legends. i mean messi is amazing but he couldnt carry barcelona and he doesnt score that much. cristiano just had the best season he will ever have but still no legend, and he hasnt done jack for portugal. kaka is 2nd after messi but he still doesnt have that special legend status. since i started following international soccer (1997) it was ronaldo then zidane then ronaldinho. now there is nobody. i mean honestly, its SAD how cristiano is considered the best in the world. he is nothing compared to ronaldo or zidane. adriano had the potential to almost be as good as ronaldo... but he is an idiot. he would be a faster and more powerful ronaldo, and inferior in all other aspects but still close.

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
