Wenger had emergency talks with him cause he wanted him to stay.

In my opinion it is good ridance. Some players treat Arsenal as a stepping stone, the idiots dont realise they are at one of the best clubs in the world, they will realise when it is too late.

All i hope is that for once we make good money on a player rather then next to nothing like we did for Henry and Vieira.

No doubt in my mind that he will regret it. Its what Wenger did for him that made him who he is today.

Its the same with Flamini, who has to compete with Ambrosini, Gattusso and Pirlo for a spot to play in a team that is not playing in Champions League this year when he could have stayed at a team that is amongst the favourites every year to win the trophy.

He says it isnt for money, but when most players change teams so that they can play Champions League why would someone change so they cant???
