    Mourinho is Internazionale's "Special One"

Internazionale have confirmed Jose Mourinho as their new manager as successor to Roberto Mancini.

The hugely successful Portuguese tactician was the red hot favourite to succeed Mancini after he was sacked by the Giuseppe Meazza outfit last week.

Mourinho has been out of work since September after being sacked by Chelsea following a bust-up too many with owner Roman Abramovich and a slow start to the Premier League season.

The 45-year-old enjoyed a successful three-year spell in English football, helping Chelsea to win the Premier League and League Cup twice, the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

    Arrival

"Internazionale announce the arrival of Jose Mourinho," read a statement on Inter's official website.

"The Portuguese coach has signed a three-year contract and will work longside Rui Farias, Silvino and Andrei Villas Boas.

"The assistant coach will be Giuseppe Baresi."

He was also strongly linked with the England job following Steve McClaren's sacking, however, The FA opted to go for Italian Fabio Capello.

The former Porto boss has signed a three-year deal with the Serie A champions, who claimed a third successive Scudetto last season.
Word has it that Mourinho will now lure the likes of Essien, Carvalho, Drogba and maybe Lampard to San Siro from Chelsea

and knowing Mourinho and his ruthless efficiency and mind-game tactics; I am pretty DAMN sure Inter will remain the dominant team in Serie A.

    So Juve, Roma, AC...

I never really liked the idea of sacking Mancini. There were obvious problems in the management and between the players, but I still don't think it was right to sack him. Some of the most successful and attractive clubs are the ones where there is a clear vision and philosophy, a place with a lot of patience and harmony (AC Milan, Manchester United, Arsenal, to some extent Liverpool). Inter has had twelve managers since Moratti took over 13 years ago. Three major titles (actually four) is the result. How many titles have the other mentioned clubs managed to win in that same time period?

Mourinho is a talented manager, no doubt about it. But now it is being said that several players from Chelsea are possibly joining this summer, and as an Interista the thought of this terrifies me.

I don't see Inter as champions next year, not with Mourinho (and some overpaid Chelsea players) in "my" club. He will probably kick several players from the current squad. Players that made inte a team the past years, and not just a collection of names (Ronaldo, Vieri, Cannavaro, Davids, Veron, Batistuta......).

I hope I'm wrong, I hope that we'll win again next year, but it won't feel right. Now we have a team with less known names. Next year we might be having self centered psychos such as Drogba.

A Swedish columnist once said that Mancini's strength is that he knows how to handle the strong individuals and egos in Inter. His greatest weakness is that he himself is one them.
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

    "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today, Tomorrow will be dying."
