Its like a dream seeing Holland winning games like this.
I cant be happy though, at any time this can end.

however beating the World Cup winner and finalist back to back is a massive achievement for a team so young.

Even Van Basten said to the world. We are not going to do well at WC 06, this team will come of age at the Euro 08 tournament.

In order, Im cheerin for Spain, Portugal, Holland, Germany, Italy. but i also quite like the french........

Wooo!! All of my main teams got through the group stages!! it was sad about france, but out of italy france and holland, id pick italy+holland so that fine too! yes, i know i've completely missed the whole "support A team".........I think of the 'a' being short for 'as many as you want'....

my predictions (and now im being serious and putting aside my loyalties) :

QF:
Germany vs Portugal (despite the portugese flair, the germans are always efficient and work as a unit when they need to, and then theres the small matter of ronaldo always falling short of his maximum potential in big games unfortunately....i hope im wrong with this prediction).
Spain vs Italy (italy are starting to look a liiiiiittle bit too old for this...13 out of 23 players 30+...and they just dont look as rock solid at the back as they once did......also spain's main players have had a little rest, and also they're winning streak is good for confidence...)
Holland vs Russia (its obvious, really, isnt it? holland gonna steamroller over russia, regardless of how hardworking the russians are)
Turkey vs Croatia (croatia, who look good, will be better even than the never-giving-up-Turks)

Spain vs Netherlands (am gonna have to be honest, even though i love spain... netherlands are just more solid, and look more unbeatable, and spain are so used to falling short of the mark.....)
Croatia vs Germany (just the effinciency of germany, i think, will give them a win)
