viva espana! i was sooooo hoping forthem to win! wish i'd put some gold on it now ah well...it was GREAT to see them all so happy, after 44 years the curse has been broken...i agree with the commentators: maybe its because there's a bit less rivalry in the team: before, most of the players would be from barca or madrid, so you'd have madridistas vs catalans rivalry...but now you have valencia villareal atletico madrid all putting players into the national side, as well as many players from abroad, so its a LOT less rivalryBacking Daei since 1992, to this day.

As I said initially, I am more interested to know the reaction of people in Basque Country and Catalonia about Spain's win. Probably a muted half-assed cheer from people who hate being called Spaniards/Spanish and would prefer independence (esp. Basque people and some elements in Catalonia)sigpic

been a good year, time for a little break of soccer, then epl comes rolling around in august. and turkey's first wcq in sept is in armenia. lol what a game that shall be. great euro discussion, great memories from the euro which i will never forget. turkiye!!!

it sucks because i got used to watching so much great soccer the past few weeks....but now that this tournament is over, i can finally LIVE lol, i havent done a fkng thing the past month on my weekends and at work i havent done sht all because ive been trying to watch all of the matches lol
