well since there's main options in a penalty, i'd say the chances of saving one is 33%

if a someone can shoot accurate and doesnt mess up mentally it is almost impossible to not score, even if the keeper knows where you are shooting.

nothing is ever definite. all that needs to be done is italy getting a lucky goal and spain not finishing and bam italy will go through. chances are slim though.

im happy pirlo and gattuso wont be there because now i wont be torn...2 players from my favorite club team playing my favorite country wouldve been tough...and i will unbiasedly say that pirlo IS italys best player, so this is definitley a break for spain.

And when i switched back to the holland game when the ball was bouncing to van persie i had the same feeling that he was going to score...and then when kevin garnett was shooting those free throws i KNEW he was going to miss them both for some reason...my intuition is on top of shit right now.

And Ribery injured himself, he fouled zambrotta so tough luck.

And italy created way more chances so goodbye France, you had nice run with Zidane but it's over for a long time

France coach Raymond Domenech believes the Netherlands will lie down for Romania in their final group game, which in effect will knock both his side and Italy out of Euro 2008...

France and Italy have both failed to beat the Romanians and lost heavily to the Netherlands, which leaves Euro 2008's Group of Death more delicately poised than anyone would have imagined going into the final round of games tomorrow evening.

Domenech's men must win and hope other results go their way in order to qualify, while Italy may be able to progress with a score draw if results go their way. However, if the Romanians fail to win against the Netherlands, then if Italy-France produces a winner, they will progress to the quarterfinals.

There are several finer details surrounding each scenario, but the bottom line, according to the ever-controversial Domenech, is that the Netherlands will make it easy for Romania to progress to the last eight by fielding a weakened team, given that they have already secured first place in the group.

"Our game against Italy will not be decisive. It's the other match that matters," insisted the French boss.
