Except Hargreaves wanted to move from the day United made their interest official. It was just that Bayern officials felt annoyed given the poor season their team was having and wanted to stall that deal - and Hargreaves injury meant they had to delay the transfer.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, is playing with sentiments by saying "I wanna stay, am happy in Manchester" as well as "It was always my dream to play for Real Madrid". and stuff like that. Bear in mind, I am more annoyed with Ronaldo's playing with words than Ramon Calderon. He hasnt made it official that he WANTS to move.

Then again, the Marca tabloid (owned by people part of Real Madrid's board) is the main instigator in all kinds of b.s. esp. with them showing a new Audi parked at Real's HQ with a hand written note on the windscreen saying something like "For Cristiano Ronaldo"

Im sure most players would rather play for Real Madrid than Manchester Utd.

Lets face it Spain is a better way of life than England and especially at Madrid we have better weather, food, stadium, fans , and people (and this is somthing even suprah cant deny!).

And especially given that Ronaldo is Portuguese the cultural factor would be suit him better to live in Spain.

That said I still dont want him to come, we dont need him! I would rather Diego of Bremen come to Madrid.

in other words, people make mistakes and/or break laws intetionally/unintentionally at any age in any environment.
