they have TOP players like Van Nisterlooy, Sjneider, Kuyt,... they have great strikers, great defenders, great keeper, great midfield, great bench, great young players, great trainer, great staff, great federation, great facilities and training for the young... baba this team has everything to be world champions!
The only reason why they didn't do much in the past couple of years is that they couldn't play well with eachother, and another plus they have better and more talented players now.
this Holland is UNstopable, they WILL be European Champions!

every football team, like almost every other thing in this world has this kind of a graph:
every thing from economy of a nation to the life of a human being goes up and has a peak, stays there for sometime and then starts going down hill.
a team also starts improving gradually, reaches a point, and then comes down.
this is repeated in cycles, again, like many other things in life like economy (the whole process of economic booming and economic recession).
wat varies is how fast or how slow this entity goes up, how long it stays there, how fast or how slow it comes down, and then again, how fast or how slow it recovers itself and starts going up again.
this is wat defines "consistency" of a player or a team. its the skills of a coach and his players as to when to reach the peak and how long they can maintain their peak form.
so, the sooner in a tournament a team reaches its peak, the more difficult it is for the team to remain in peak for the rest of the tournament.
on the other hand, teams who start off a bit slower usually by the end of the tournament where the most crucial stages have reached hit their peak form and often get their best results in the stages it matters most.
ofcourse there are many factors which influence this pattern of a team like injuries, suspensions, weather and pitch conditions, luck, morale boost and other psychological factors based on a teams status and its opponents status, etc.
now this is only one theory which explains a lot of happenings in this world where this pattern is observed including football tournaments. there are always exceptions and ofcourse other theories.
like we say in farsi: favare chon boland shavad, sarnegun shavad. (when a fountain goes up, it comes down)
