    GERMANY FOR EVER!
    FIRST COMES IRAN THEN GERMANY.

Whats up with all you turkey lovers here.
They were lucky begging so far!
I just love torks of iran! not the mongols from turkey! remember the game vs swiss for WC Qualifier?!?!

Germany brought me 20 euros win!
    muahahahaha.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

sure you can say it was lucky for germany, but if it was like that you can blame every little thing. a true winner needs to overcome luck.

you mean the game when at end of the 90 minutes, a Swiss player ran up and kicked a member of Turkey's coaching staff on the sidelines that led to the mayhem in the tunnel ?

but that wasnt every little thing.
            that led to the goal
if that didnt happen i very strongly doubt germany would have scored

well i guess we gotta accept the fact that so much of this sport is luck and blaming luck after losing due to failing to overcome it will not change the fact that the other team won deservingly, but with luck. its deserved because luck is a part of the game, you cant blame the other team for getting lucky so it is deserved.

but you cant really even look at a twisted ankle as luck. The player decided to step a certain way and got hurt, so its was his decision that lead to his injury. And we can look at "if.....then" situations all day, but none of it matters. He could have not gotten injured, stayed in the game, and been at fault for Turkey conceding two goals instead of one.

The better team wins as long as the ref doesnt negatively interfere, and thats that.

now you seem to have a different understanding of what "better" means. to me, the "better" team is the team which has more possession and chances. therefore i would say the better team wins around 50% of the time. but it seems like you are calling the "better" team the one that wins and they are "better" because they outscored their opponents.

the ankle thing was unlucky, if it was how you say it is, then there would be nothing called luck. luck is when something benefits you but not because of your own ability or effort. so the turkish player was not expecting to be injured but it just happened. therefore it is beyond his own ability so it is unluckiness.

you dont think team who get more shots is better?

yes but that my whole point lol. read my last couple of posts carefully and you will understand.

                                ok basically:

                                - the better team is the one with most chances/possession, controls midfield, etc..
                                - winning is not necessarily related to being the better team because around 50% of the time the better team loses
                                - no win is undeserved, unless there are major issues such as cheating, match-fixing, etc...
                                - a win can be lucky but you cant say its not deserved because luck is a part of the game
