    In Support of Andriy Shevchenko

I still believe Andriy Shevchenko is one of the best strikers out there. I made this thread to support this player, because he has received a lot of criticism. He had a good 06/07 season but, one reason he did not score as much was because of the better goalkeepers in England (Buffon is an exception). In the 07/08 season, he was not given much of a chance but he was good too. Grant usually brought him on in the 87th minute or so, which is not nearly enough time to make an impact. This thread is for people who still have faith in Andriy Shevchenko, and know that he can bounce back from all of this.

All blame lies on Roman Abramovich for Shevchenko becoming the most expensive dud in world football.

Shevchenko was such an unbelievable flop..... i thnk it was the pressure of that massive price tag.
