It's been a while since anyone (me hehe) posted in something in this thread - almost a year!
Milan seem to be on the way to clinch their first Scudetto since 2004 - and Inter will most likely not win any title (except for maybe the Coppa Italia) this season, in contrast to how things have been the past few years.
Let's hope that Inter can win their 2 delayed games from December. That would mean that we're 3 points behind Milan (which in no way is an impossible distance with almost half of the season left to play.
To be fair, Milan is a great side with some fantastic players, especially those who have joined during this season. However, I think most objective readers agree when I say that Inter's squad is more complete than Milan's. Inter's defensive line is naturally weakened due to the absence of Walter Samuel but I think that Cordoba or Ranocchia are good replacements. Lucio's qualities are already known to everyone by now.
The right back position was weak during Benitez' reign - but now Maicon is back in his old shape which means attack attack attack along the right flank. The left back is perhaps not our strongest link, although Chivu is an accomplished footballer. However, he is no Gareth Bale.
The midfield has been weakened due to injuries, but now things look brighter. Motta and Cambiasso have been reborn ever since Leo took over Inter and they create a lot of goals together. I believe that Mourinho has had a part in this as he is in continuous contact with Leo (according to themselves). Of course, Zanetti has also been fantastic - as always. The guy is 37 but still one of the best players in the team.
The the front line, mainly Eto'o has been one of the best strikers in Italy and perhaps Europe this season, together with for instance Ibra. Thankfully, Biabiany isn't playing much now that Leo has taken over which is a huge relief.
I've been very glad to see Dejan Stankovic play so well the past few games, and I think he is one of the bandiere of Inter. However, I can't wait for Sneijder to come back! Also, I am curious to see if Coutinho can improve under Leonardo's rule. Perhaps the Brazilian connection could prove to be valuable in Cou's development at Inter.
Even though Luca Castelazzi has been doing well the past few games and saved us from embarrassing losses, I am looking forward to seeing Julio Cesar back in the goal soon.
Inter suffered from some 43 + muscle related injuries after Benitez took over in July. That's a remarkable figure.
So - even though I think Milan are to be considered as the main candidate for the Scudetto this season, I haven't stopped dreaming of a 19th badge .We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

By the way, God has spoken:
Jose Mourinho has praised successor Leonardo. “The team is happy, there is empathy and I think Inter will win the Scudetto again.”
The Nerazzurri have been reborn since Rafa Benitez walked away in December, winning all four official outings under their new Coach.
“Above all, Leonardo is the manager of a club that holds a space in my heart,” the Real Madrid boss told Sky Sport Italia.
“My heart has a little space for Chelsea, a lot for Vitoria Setubal and all of it for Inter. Whether their Coach is Leonardo, Benitez or anyone else, it’s the same for me.
“I always cheer on Inter, suffer when they suffer and want the Inter fans to be happy. I am very pleased for Leonardo and the lads, as it looks like the story will have the usual ending: the Scudetto.
“Leonardo is not a Milanista,” assured Mou. “He is a fantastic lad and I have had a very positive rapport with him for many years.
“I immediately realised that with him, the players are happy. When they are happy, you’re halfway there already.
“Leonardo is intelligent and understood what the team needs right now. They are happy, have self-belief and empathy again.”We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

It's all in our own hands now. If we win tomorrow against Lecce and beat Milan in 2 weeks, we will put Milan behind us.
However, Milan has a greater advantage than us. If they'll win the derby they're +5 points ahead again. So even if we manage to win our 2 upcoming fixtures, it means that we have to win all remaining 5 games since our margin won't be larger than +1 after a possible win in the derby. We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.
