Do you think manchester city will become a contender with the top four, their really investing.
I feel like english clubs have started to over take the rest of europe. The quality of the top four teams are very good now. Other countries have these good teams:
Italy - Juventus, AC Milan, Inter, Roma
Germany - Bayern
Spain - Barcelona, Real Madrid
English clubs are doing very well

i dont because manchester city make stupid purchases
Castillo: (expensive loan deal) and this guy is a peice of work i tell you
Bozhinov: he had one good half season at lecce and people think hes raw talent, hes 24 if he doesnt pick it up he never will (but he is injured alot)
Mwaruwari: pretty expensive like 7-8m pounds for a decent EPL striker at best
Jo: huge cash, so much pressure on him
Samaras: lol def not a 5.5m pound investment...but hes doing good at Celtic
and wasting money on bums like corradi and bianchi
they have way too many strikers and wingers, and they cant manage a team for shit, you ask me...Manchester city and there fans are a jokeGo Cows!

just like demis-11 said, they waste their money on stupid signings,a team that wants to be successful needs quality goalkeeper and defenders and man city doesnt have any and their attack is not even quality,so NO they are far away from a champ. league spot

City is after Ronaldinho lol.
Manchester City executive chairman Garry Cook is hopeful the club can overcome the "complexities" surrounding a deal for Barcelona ace Ronaldinho.
City have been granted permission to hold talks with the World Cup winner after new Barca manager Pep Guardiola made it clear the forward's services were no longer required at the Bernabeu.
However, the Sky Blues reportedly face stiff competition from Chelsea, while Serie A giants AC Milan have also declared their interest in the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year.
But Cook is optimistic of luring Ronaldinho to Eastlands as he looks to further boost his attacking options following the record signing of CSKA Moscow striker Jo.
Cook said: "We are in the hunt and have been talking to them on a regular basis.
"We will continue to do so until we feel it is not right to bring the player to the club or he decides not to come. We know it is a competitive market place.
"There are some complexities (to a possible deal) that you don't normally associate with signing a player.
"Although there is long way to go, we are optimistic. Any great player is welcome here as this is a growth club.
"We are on a journey and are not going to stop until we create a new era."
