Here's an objective review of Haddadi by NBA scouts after watching his game against Dallas where he had 19 an 16. Draftexpress is the most credible source on NBA prospects, and nearly all NBA general managers follow it. Apparently these guys don't think Haddadi is athletic enough to play in the NBA, although they are impressed with some of his skills.

yea man hadadi has to really step it up to be in NBA
i mean we really dont have infrastructure for basketball...im surprised we're even in the olympics. THEY CAN'T EVEN WATCH NBA GAMES IN IRAN FOR GOD'S SAKE So where do these guys learn how to play?
we have no real basketball courts in Iran and our league is so young and inexperienced....our league is more like street basketball
we have a lot of building up to do before we even consider sending players to NBA.... hadadi is good but he has no experience....nba players put years and years of hard work and experience b4 they make it. So hadadi has to play on that same level for atleast another year or 2 before he makes it to the NBA successfully

they might show highlights but they dont show it like they do here or other countries. They dont show all the playoff games and the season...
and yea they're getting better but we still have a long way to go
we need more schools and possibly more americans and europeans in the league
