Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg has not accepted Barcelona's 15 million euro offer for striker Andrei Arshavin, says the club.
"Barcelona had failed to improve their original offer of 15 million euros, thus we decided to end our negotiations with the Spanish club," Zenit said on its website on Monday.
"We have not received any offers for Arshavin from any other clubs, therefore there are no discussions going on about his transfer," it added.
The Russian club suggested extending Arshavin's current contract by two more years until 2012. The striker has two weeks to decide his future.
Dick Advocaat, the champions' Dutch coach, said earlier he would not use his top player until he makes up his mind.
