Dejaga and others at least made a semi legit attempt to decline somewhat diplomatically ..!!
still i wish the guy best of luck in his football ambitions..!! but i dont feel like reading about him on this forum, perhaps this should be moved to international forum..??
btw, NICE KITS..!! barfelona wanna bees...!!
..... i couldnt agree more. Made it adamantly clear he dint want to play for TM and laughed at the question. he can go kick rocks.

I love Safari. Such a great player. Why would he play for Iran when we have messed up management incompotent IFF?? he made a right choice to serve for Sweden and improve for the upcoming future. Same as Dejagah. Don't forget what happened with Zandi. He gave his love to Iran and look what they did to him. Screw IFF

They just announced that Behrang will be in the starting line-up in Sweden's WCQ game against Portugal in approximately 35 minutes.

Now that Behrang Safari has played a official game with Swedish National team we can forget him for good. But I was impressed by him and he did his job. He was a little bit nervous the first 10 minutes but he played well after all. The game between sweden and portugal ended 0-0 in stockholm but sweden had many chances to score but couldn't deliver.

Off topic....Listen do you remember after WC 2006 when Zandi wasn't picked by IFF after his poor performance. IFF screwed him and didn't invite him for a long time before the asian cup 2007. Do you get it?

But if the coach feels he isn't doing great...he shouldn't be invited…..right?...surely the coach cannot give him a place in a 23 man team and hope he may perform and get back into his prime during training...its too much of a risk...national teams pick players that are doing well...they can't test player abilities...clubs performances does that….I believe he wasn’t even in a club during his absence…even if he was he wasn’t given playing time.

But still he got bad treatment from IFF and he didn't deserve it. This is not right and even if he played poor I can tell you that Zandi was much better than half of TM after WC 06.

what was this bad treatment you are talking about? did IFF fined him every week? did they threaten his family? did they went to cyprus and beat him up?
