Football just doesnt have that depth...its like a much much simpler version of soccer
      like what?

with a well executed zond defense i think this offense could be stopped, really, an offense will only hav 5 wide receivers because they'll hav 1 QB and 5 linemen, unless they pull somethin funky but that will cause immediate pressure to the QB....and also that means a team running this offense will hav to REEEEEALLY work on their receiving skills, linemen, running backs, tight ends, errrbody! and i find it hard to believe a team will hav so many skilled receivers, this is y i dont think this system as a base offense will work, a trick play here and there? sure, but not as a base offense

it's very easy for those who hav NOT played american football to criticize it and say it's simple and "anyone" can do it

i agree, its a tough sport tactically and if one player is having an off day then the whole offensive or defensive line suffers..

well no offense to those who are passionate but im just stating what i believe and i know there are lots of plays and every little movement is important but so is every other sport. Overall american football is dependant on the coaches and quarterback's brains...the players just follow instructions. It is NOT a sport everyone can play but it doesnt deserve as much credit as they give it in US. Rugby is much more of a complete and fun sport. Now college football is more passionate and exciting than nfl which is what makes it a exciting passtime/get together.

im not saying it wont work but i really dont see it as the future...quite possibly tho, as the game evolves teams are looking for any upper hand they can get, and that's all sports

With that post you just proved there is absolutely no intelligence involved. your intent was to over exaggerate but u did quite the opposite and made a fool out of the sport. honestly i didnt know ppl held these type thinking in high regards if it requires any in that case; which way to sprint, how far to sprint, what speed to sprint, which way to block, who to block, who to let go, which way to run,?????????

First of based on what u said here, these few thoughts you point out(not including the ones that dont make any sense), are the simplest human instincts(how far or what speed to sprint, loool)

Second, your list does not all apply to a person that plays at one position. how ironic is it that you try to claim ppl underrate the sport when they know nothing of the sport but that person is u and ur extremely overexaggerating it. the position you play in football is only specific to only very few tasks.did u even you that you dont usually play both at the offensive and defensive positions??

The game is so amazingly direct that it is no joke when im saying intelligence isnt used as much as a quoter than you do in soccer(like ive mentioned it includes memorizing what u need to do before the play starts. The sport mostly demands physical work, which means allot of various weight training, tackling, other physical training etc...like a said / fit for fat or muscular guerrilla with no brain

Im not saying american football is bad but when u want to compare it with the real football theres seriously no comparison in all aspects in my opinion

Its only fun playing it without any equipment and unprofessionally otherwise playing at a team its more like getting into a military wise fitness training with violently tough tackling encouragement and other aggressive principles which doesnt define the word sport to me. im not gona bother considering whether if it is a sport of intelligence or not..talking about whether if this sport pumps up aggressive behavior is a better relative question

btw i dont mind if geeks on the comp wanna doubt me...lol

with the exception of a QB But still not as nearly close as the real game

but if your into weights an getting buff this is your type of sport
You honestly don't know anything about the sport.

The only other game that needs more intelligence involved is chess.

Pick up a 300 page playbooks and then talk to me.

vision, Thinking ahead about which hole is going to open being aware of people around you, etc...

it's not just about being buffed and running fast and I should know.

                          I am 5'11 , 135 Lbs and I won 2 city championships.

Your right, it doesnt take thinking to do any of the above. the player should instead do calculas and use chemistry to determine the molar weight of the atoms in the football instead, like they do in futbol

knowing how far or what speed to sprint in infinately varying situations are human instinct? and please, which ones dont make any sense.

lol. ok, if i was not sure before, i am sure now. there is no way that you have played football in your life. A running back does all of the things that i mentioned in my post. As does a wide reciever (except "what hole to hit").
The rest of the players do the majority of what i listed along with other things.
The game is so amazingly direct that it is no joke when im saying intelligence isnt used as much as a quoter than you do in soccer(like ive mentioned it includes memorizing what u need to do before the play starts. please enlighten us what footbal required that football doesn't as far as intellect.

lol. The typical response of someone who knows NOTHING about the sport.
btw i dont mind if geeks on the comp wanna doubt me...lol
lol. your the one who responded to me with a half page long post full of nonsense.
