True, thats the reason their club failed miserably at ACL. They lack technique. however, some clubs are buying good south american players to improve this aspect of their game.

a-league has LONG way to go to becoming a strong league.

but at least they have proper stadiums and facilities to play in and use.

^^not just that, they also have the support of many people and the money they are willing to spend to improve their league is huge. I don't think it will take Australian clubs long to become like the japanese: dominating ACL.

The only thing you could say they lack is experience and talent(though they have quiet some but not as much as IPL).

Its disappointing as a player in Australia to see this kind of system of soccer implemented.

Really it's pathetic, and its not going any good for the youth of the country.
They think they solved the problem with their so called U21 A-League.

Ill give A-League another 10 to 15 years until they become a league with Promotion/Relegation and a at least 2 strong League with minimum of 15 teams in each league.

I know that what they are offering at the moment is quality..
Its not bad...

But i mean....
Common, the potential in this country is far beyond a 8 team league.

Its sad too see....
And experience as well when Ur a player in this country.
