Especially A-league. The coaches can actually kick the bench onto the pitch, they're plastic chairs! . The stadiums these days need to have a proper bench, like Manchester United's leather seats lol. The system however is being developed every season which is good, but they have to immiediatly scrap the gay 'playoff, top 4 AFL style'. Just do the usual European style.

      Man Utd =
      Current EPL Champions
      Current European Champions
      Current World Champions

I have been to IPL games and i have been to A-League games.

atmosphere, passion and raw talent wise IPL is amongst the best in the world.
however the facilities and funding is crap

I went to an Ahvaz derby. WOW!!! is all i can say.

A-League has an amazing inferstructure and big money backing it. but what is football with no atmosphere and very little passion?

        nothing in my opinion.

HOWEVER.....answer me this Arash jan, u make fun of A-League and say it is crap but in only its 3rd year it has a team in the semi-final with a realistic chance of making the final. How often is an Iranian team there?

Yer but the league itself is shit. Yes, Iranians don't want to spend too much money on their soccer but A-League has shit rules, like a salary cap and marquee players. Players would rather go to a really shit European club (cyprus or Romania) and get a contract worth 5 times more than Australia. You need to put a lot of money into your soccer, to be able to sign a lot of good and talented players

The point of having a salary cap initially is so that the league doesnt become one sided and so far it has worked as 3 different teams have won the league in the opening 3 years. Hollywood actors own Sydney FC so if they could spend what they want then the team would turn into a Man U or Real Madrid. No one wants that.

Its tru that a lot of players can leave but every day more and more players are starting to believe in the A-League and are chosing to stay a few extra years in Oz to hone there talents.

              short memory span

however i still maintain that Iranian teams have struggled in the ACL and in its 3rd year an Australian team is doing well.

I dont put that to skill as i think the teams here have nothing on IPL teams but much of football teams success is on how it is run and the A-League teams are run much more professionally.

After 6-7 years Iranians clubs getting knocked out at groups stages.
It's only the 2nd year Babak jan that Australian teams are in ACL, Also Sydney FC nearly/should've knocked out the eventual champions in their group, they outplayed them in both legs. in their second attempt they're made the semi's.

It's not all about passion and fans. It's more about the quality of the teams that makes a league better than the other. Australian team are quiet powerful in Asia. they will dominate Asian soccer soon.

I reckon that year when Paas had Nekunam in the team they could have gone a long way if it weren't for some indecisive decision making from the coach.

They were just unlucky to concede 2 goals in the last game against AlAin, they were leading 3-1 and draw the game 3-3.
i think their coach was Denizli. The team was experienced. Couldn't keep the score, Some thing Sepahan did and succeeded.

                      Well said.

Shayan is let me say this in persian.

                      "Delesho Khosh karde be Adelaide"
Fekr mikone hala Adelaide is in Semifinals is a sign of Australian improvement.

Trust me, no Australian clubs will make it as far as the semifinals for a couple of more years.

Have a look at the clubs that are in Australia's group for gods sake.
They faced only 1 competitive club in their group which was from S.Korea

Other wise, Chinese clubs, Vietnamese clubs...are you kidding me.
Put Iran in thoose groups and Iran will be atleast in the Quarterfinals every year.

                      Their groups are a joke..
Vietnamese, Indonesian WTF...No Wonder AFC made a change to the AFC CL.

UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Syrian all these Middleeastern clubs are stronger then your average Chinese or deffinatly Vietnamese or Chinese club.

Delete Khosh nakon be 1 good run by Adelaide.

                      We cant say this..

Iran has a history in AFC CL.
Winning it, Finishing runners up, recently, and in history

Comparing Australia to Iran is a joke.
                      Their League that is.

Does this mean Uzbekistan League is better then Iran's only due to the fact that Kuruvchi will probably win this tournament this year?..

Or when Karameh had an amazing run to the Final?

                      A Syrian club??...

Wait until the new stronger AFC CL kicks off next year.

Australian clubs wont stand a chance against Esteghlal, Persepolis or Sepahan...EVEN Saba Battery will be stronger then them...From next year this competition will be much stronger. AND Thats when i would like to see Australian clubs succeed.
And that's when i will say Australian clubs will "dominate" AFC CL. When you say that it actually makes me laugh, because i watch this league every week.

The boss of the A-League just became the richest man in australia.

If only it was the same in Iran.

^^not just Adelaide. Didn't you see how Sydney FC played against Urawa Reds last year. They completely outplayed them and was unlucky not to beat them and progress from that group!!
I don't agree Arash that u say Aussie club wont stand a chance against PP, SS Sepahan.

That's BULLSHIT SHAYAN...& you know it....
Since when was soccer judged on HOW SYDNEY played.
How in Gods name does that mean Sydney deserved to go through?

Obviously they weren't good enough mate...
Saba Battery deserved to progress from their group to when Ali Daei was playing 2 years ago...
THEY BLOODY deserved it...So WHAT....they missed out on goal difference??!!

Its like me saying, SHAYAN. did you see how Saipa played in the 2nd half against Kuruvchi in Azadi.

                            Saipa should of won 4-2....

I dont know about Esteghlal or Sepahan.
                            But right now.

Persepolis would beat any A-League team.
