How in Gods name does that mean Sydney deserved to go through?

Obviously they weren't good enough mate...
Saba Battery deserved to progress from their group to when Ali Daei was playing 2 years ago...
THEY BLOODY deserved it...So WHAT....they missed out on goal difference??!!

Its like me saying, SHAYAN. did you see how Saipa played in the 2nd half against Kuruvchi in Azadi.

    Saipa should of won 4-2....

I dont know about Esteghlal or Sepahan.
    But right now.

Persepolis would beat any A-League team.
    Stop yelling!

You're making it sound too difficult.
So far Aussie teams have much better record than IPL if you look at the attendance and achievement in ACL.

Sydney outplayed Urawa while Sepahan didn't.
Just admit it. Aussie club have been (so far) more successful than Iranian teams.

      What's there to admit man?

Okey let's do this your way, so you can understand that even in the short term, Australia has a poorer record the Iran.

Lets compare the past 2 seasons of AFC CL.
      Shall we.

      Edition 2007.

      Sydney FC & Adeilaide eliminated.

      Sepahan made the Final

      Edition: Current.

      Saipa made the quarterfinals.

      Adelaide so far Semifinals.

Even as we stand to look for the past 2 seasons of AFC CL, Iran is ahead of Australia, now, YOU ADMIT IT..

IF Adelaide makes the Final, or wins this year.
      Then we will talk ok.

Until then, i am taking it that you will admit your wrong

Because even in the short term, Australia does NOT have a better record then Iran.

i remember reading a little further down and u and someone esle made an "excuse" about the coaching that lost Pas a game some time a go.

isnt that the same thing u r saying Shayan is doing?

Yes, when Shayan brought up the "luck" in Sydney's elimination then i wanted to show him if that was the case then Pas FC or Saba Battery or even Saipa could be brought up into that same matter.

Its no exuse, neither for Pas FC or Sydney FC, they were just not good enough and THATS IT.

You should consider yourself lucky to finish top 10 in Iran

you said If Adelaide makes it then i win right?
                      SO let's wait.

Also about the dream part: that's a lot of exaggeration, you know Adelaide has a good chance to beat the uzbek, It's not like they're playing Barca

Even if Adelaide makes the Final, Iran has a better record.
I compared the last 2 years.

Iran has a Final + Quarterfinal appearance.

Australia if they make the Final only has a Final appearance in the past 2 seasons.

But the Irony here is, Qatar, UAE & Saudi.
For the past 2 years. Qatar or Saudi have not had 1 single team going out of the Groupstages.

AND, UAE only had Al-Wahda who made it to the Semifinals, where they lost to Sepahan.

These oil rich countries have nothing to show for it, all that money, and piss weak teams

Regarding Kuruvchi, the money spent on Rivaldo is equal to all A-League clubs salary caps put together.
All 8 teams, put together, their salaries wont reach 15 million.

So basically they are not playing Barcelona, THEY ARE PLAYING a Barca player

true but As you pointed out urself money isn't everything in football, just like how arab teams have failed these years.
I'm sure McDonald won't let Rivaldo do anything.
