wtf is wrong with some of these ppl....its not like Haddadi is engaging in terrorism....

It just hit me how great it would be if NBA had an iranian....thousands of kids in Iran will look up to him and even follow the sport, and one day we really would win at the olympics.

Well I think this is just a temporary issue that should be resolved shortly, so I still think Hadadi will be in the NBA for next season. The NBA has already applied for the license exempting him, and it should almost certainly be granted considering recent US policy to expose more Iranian nationals to the United States.

haddadi going to the NBA would be the best thing the NBA could ask for.
With the NBA going "global", the next thing they want is to open the doors to different countries, such as iran. this is all an advantage for the NBA in terms of marketing the game etc.
the NBA are the ones wanting haddadi more than haddadi wanting to go to the NBA. they wont let him not be signed.
