I really have no hope that we'll win this ,
though I do hope Kamrani Hadadi & Bahrami put up a good effort to attract scouts and hopefully get into the NBA or at least into Europe.

actually we got the easier group of the two groups. The other group has USA, Spain and Greece!!

Lithuania is stronger than Russia so expect another loss.

I thought we did well against Russia especially in second and third quarter.
The game was closer than the scoreline showed. But in the end, we were simply lacking the technical quality and speed of Russians.

Expecting us to win any of these matches is unrealistic, but we all must be proud that we have made it to the party and are among the top 10 teams in the world that made the olympics...remember, we haven't been here in more than 40 years...we are likely to lose all the games, but from the performance I saw yesterday, this team has a lot of heart, has a lot of good players and will fight to the end in every match, even if we fall short at the end of each game,,,our basketball players are surely an example for most of our other team-sports, includeing foobtall.
