به گزارش ايسنا، وزن كشي وزن 55 كيلوگرم كشتي فرنگي المپيك در سالن دانشگاه كشاورزي پكن برگزار شد كه حميد سوريان دارنده سه مدال طلاي جهان در دور اول برابر "ونلين ونكوف" نايب قهرمان سال 2006 اروپا از بلغارستان مي*رود و برنده اين مسابقه با الوايس از پالائو رودررو مي*شود.

اگر سوريان اين دو حريف را پشت سر بگذارد در يك چهارم نهايي احتمالا با نظير مانكيف روس مسابقه خواهد داد. پارك اون چول دارنده دو نقره و يك برنز جهان از كره جنوبي نيز در اين سمت جدول قرار دارد و در صورتي كه سوريان رقيبان دور مقدماتي را شكست دهد، در نيمه نهايي احتمالا با حريف كره*اي رو در رو خواهد شد.

روشن*بايرام*اف آذربايجان تنها رقيب قدر وزن 55 كيلو است كه در سمت جدول سوريان قرار ندارد.

در اين وزن 19 نفر حضور دارند.
