Sourian was definitely good and I thought he had the Russian at the end there when he picked him up, but still, good effort.

This proved one thing to me - this is one TOUGH sport...props to our boy and good luck in the future.

What are you guys talking about....we still have many chances at Gold....how bout the other wrestlers like Jokar...or the ones that won silver and bronze in 2004....they are still here and not to forget Hadi Saei....all of these guys have a great shot at a medal even our discus thrower has a shot at a medal....lets just stay positive....the russian guy is going to win Gold...he was just way too tough for Sourian.....but last night ali Malomat an unknown judoku nearly won a medal....we still have a long way to go....lets just remain positive.

with such a crappy Tarbiyat Badani and sports organization in Iran, do you really expect to win gold medals? Olympics is not world championship. Athletes and countries prepare for years for this event. It was obvious that without Rezazadeh, there wont be any gold this year. Now it is looking like there wont be any medals at all.

This is my 7th olympic as a follower and one thing I have come to expect is we always win medals in freestyle wrestling and that usually comes towards the end of the event. just be patient and stay positive. I mean get positive.
