Men's Basketball Iran - Australia Date and Time (Live Report)
Yes, but he's also been posterized atleast 3 times in this game. Bradley got a ton of blocks too, but he was the king of being posterized while he was in the NBA.
well yao gets posterized all the time too...
nikkah ANOTHER 3
So Haddadi is your cousin, thanks for clearing that up. The way you have his back regardless makes it seem so
go read the lithuania thread, he was having a good game but i was mentioning every mistake he made, every turnover, every bad play. But now people are saying he flat out sucks, something i strongly disagree with
I actually think Hadadi has the size and skill to be a decent backup big man in the NBA after a year or two of experience. My friend who was in the Iran camp for 3 months told me that the only thing holding Hadadi back was he didn't have the heart, desire, and dedication to be the best that he can be. He has a poor work ethic, and it clearly shows with his conditioning.
The amount of turnovers this team gives up is because of poor fitness I think. If they had worked on this a little, results would not have been as bad.
Who the **** takes a 3 up by 40 with 5 seconds left???!! ****ing assholes.
i was going to break the computer when i saw russia do that, but after lithuania did it to us and after watching other international games i realized the nba tradition of running out the clock has not reached the rest of the world. Only USA does it.
NYC when i said haddadi is weak, i meant when he is around the basket. he doesnt finish strong at all.
persianbruin touched on another point i noticed. his work ethic is horrible. it shows completely in the game. many times u see him not get back on D which caused baskets. then you see him make careless decisions. look at his TOs in the olympics and leading up to it. he can avg a triple-double with TO in it!
Hadadi would be the Iranian Shawn Bradley of the NBA. He would be on Sportscenter every night after some guy posterizes him.
Sahakian reminds me of Ando. Not the most talented player, but it seems he has the most pride and gheyrat out there giving 110% every time he's on the court. Some of our boys could learn a thing or two about pride and fighting spirit from these Iranian Armenians.
come on man thats harsh
bradley didnt have a shot, couldnt dunk with power...haddadi is not that bad...this was probably one of his worse games
be khoda these boys are doing their best...I can't blame, them,,I know we could have lost with a better scoreline, but the fact that we are here, it's simply something to be proud of...we have only really had professional basketball for less than 10 years, if that.
sigpic
Salute to anyone who stands against these barbaric, inhumane and irrational laws of ANY religion.
Oh ok I get it now... Haddadi is exactly like a typical (Not-all) Persian athelete. Like many soccer players we have. Talented and has potential, but poor work ethic and no urge to succeed in his field.
