    Racist Italians!!

    http://www.goal.com/en/articolo.aspx?contenutoid=817716

This guy was born in Italy and was not considered an Italian citizen and ineligible to play for Italy until he was 18!!

Now his wish is to represent Italy on the national stage even after all the discrimination!!

actually most of the afro-french whom play for france were born in france.

how would you like it if canada did not consider you a citizen until you turned 18 because of your ethnics even though you lived there all your life?!!

Its the same thing, they discriminate based on race.

Italy is a more culturally conservative country and I would not call this a form of racism, rather a form of race consciousness which is totally okay. Many other countries such as Japan are very race conscious. On another note, as a middle easterner, I have always been treated well by the Italians. I have not been treated well for example by the Turkish who are supposed to be closer to us. So it's all very complicated.

I haven't noticed many Racist Greeks to be honest, they seem to get along better with me once they find out I'm Turkish (part).

there are snobs everywhere i guess...but i do agree on the racial conscious part..i mean...in greece its considered normal to say well.."that guy is black"..but here in canada (and maybe the states..not sure never been) if you say that guy is black some people think your profiling them based on their skin (in a negative way)
