lets hope to see similiar things from the guys this week.

Mustapha Jokar is a very intelligent wrestler, however he ran out of energy in last olympics versus, admittingly extremely good, Cuban Wrestler (forgot his name).

This time he will do well.....hopefully.

Masoud Mostafa Jokar (who won silver in Athens) will not be wrestling this yr. He retired. MEISAM mostafa Jokar will be competing. They are 2 different wrestlers.

In last olympics unfairly they didn let him to go to finals, and even for the fight on Bronze his opponent received two unjustified points. Heydari however came back and won 3:2.... He was a great Wrestler.
I'll never forget how he got up and started running to his coach waving his arms in the air when he won and jumped on his coach. It brought tears of happiness to my eyes.

this guys first name is MEYSAM.and the one who brought the silver medal for us in athens was MASOUD mostafa jokar. They are brothers , but hey this guy is much better than his brother.his very smart and fast.Masoud got a really good draw back in 2004,where he didnt really have a decent compo until the final game Vs quintana.I hope Meysam can pull out something, though there are really good wrestlers in his weight like the russian Satiev and a new Uzbek guy who won satiev last year

here's some info I got on our wrestlers...from the olympic webpage.

Abbas Dabaghi- very young only 21 yrs old, his best record so far is 3rd at the Asian championships

Morad Mohammadi- He's one of the more experienced wrestlers, he won Gold at the 2006 World championships and Gold at the World Cup of Wrestling.

Mehdi Taghavi-Another youngster only 21 yrs old, his best is 3rd at the 2007 Asian championships and Silver at the World cup of Wrestling

Meisam Mostafa Jokar- He has a bright future, only 23 yrs old and he's won 2 back to back silver medals at the Asian Championships.

Reza Yazdani-He is definatly a contender for a medal having won 2 back to back Bronze medals at the World Championships and Gold at the Asian Championships

Saeid Ebrahimi-He should not be underestimated. He is an unkown wrestler but he has managed to win Gold at the Asian Championships and Silver at the World Championships, keep an eye on him

Fardin Masoumi- At the peek of retirement, he is expected by some to bring home a medal. He has won 2 back to back Gold medals at the Asian Championships, Gold at the World Cup of Wrestling & Bronze at the 2006 World Championships

I am almost sure that Taghavi vil get a medal tomorrow.

If he beats Shahin Ramezan in the second round, he will meet Barzakov in the semis. It is going to be very tough and exciting.
                          Enjoy
