    Rashid Sharifi Men's Weightlifting +105Kg. [Live Report]

    Rashid Sharifi who is replacing Hossein Rezazadeh will compete in the +105Kg.

    His all time best is at the 2008 Asian Championships, where he won Gold

    Snatch: 190Kg.
    Clean & Jerk: 236Kg.
    Total: 426Kg.

    The event will begin...

    August 19

    Group B:
    12:30am Pacific
    3:30am Eastern
    12:00 Tehran time

    Group A:
    4:00am Pacific
    7:00am Eastern
    3:30pm Tehran time

    He will be in Group B.

    i think he is our best chance for a medal in weightlifting taking rezazadeh's spot this will be very sad and different not too see rezazadeh in the competition anymore and sharifi even if he wins it wont be the same but as all i still wish him good luck and hope that he brings us a medal

      ^ lol I just want him to be in the top 10. Ive seen the Personal Best of each lifter and Rashid doesnt even come close.

          it's nearly impossible.

          People in group A are way more experienced and powerful than him.

          TO be realistic the best he will get is to lift the highest total in group B, which is basically group A's start off amount.

                    He need to pull 200 on snatch and 240 on C&J to have the smallest chance at a medal.
