I agree. Although inferior in height compared to the Italian, Hadi has a chance because as the Brit (who is the same height as Hadi) showed, it is not a difficult task to score on the Italian. In addition, Hadi is much smarter than the Brit who in many situations, looked like a barbarian. Anyway, the final shall make for a good match.

The BBC commentators were full of praises for Hadi in all 3 of his matches. Including how he auctioned off his previous medal for the survivors of the Bam earthquake.
btw, I'm not sure that AN and his gang will be happy about a dovvom khordadi winning the gold medal.Last edited by Simorgh; 08-22-2008, 03:48 AM.

Even tho that the Italian is taller, it shouldn't be a big problem for Saie...Really what he has to do is keep getting inside and make him miss the kicks, he just really needs to watch out for penalties for holding or not working hard. I think he should be ok, specially because of his experience. I think really the reason that he got this far was because of him being more experience most of his competitors. Also I don't know if it was just me, but I thought Last years world taekwondo championship and Athens 2004 was a lot more competitive. I think the lack of Koreans, also lack of experience, and finally really Lopez didn't have a good tournament and this caused the competitiveness of the event to come down. I guess it is also kinda good because it made it for Saie to get up to gold pretty easily.
