Update on Youssef Karami in Taekwondo?

Anyone know what happened to the gold medal hopeful (yes another one) by the name of Youssef Karami in the 80kg Taekwondo?

Was he injured or did he get sick because there was an Israeli in the same round?

He is not in the olympics, Iran is only allowed to send one Taekwondo fighter to the olympics (per weight division) so they sent Hadi Saei

Really? Oh...but he was listed on the athletes page and he even had a report written about how his the gold medal favourite on the main Olympics site.

yea the beijing site had it all wrong. I wish one of them could have lost some weight or something, but then again Taekwondo fighters cant really lose or gain weight that easy like Boxers or MMA Fighters. He is still young, in 4 yrs time hopefully he comes back stronger and wins us Gold
