Taekwondo star assaults referee after losing his bronze match!

The Cuban Taekwondo star (olympic gold in Sydney) Angel Matos lost his bronze match after expiry of Kye-shi time (time you can take to look into an injury etc). After the referees had decided that Matos would lose the fight, he got insane and started pushing a couple of referees.

Things got so far that he kicked a Swedish referee in the face, making the ref in need of medical assistance.

It was decided today that Angel Matos, together with his coach, are to be handed a life-time ban on participating in any Taekwondo competitions.

Well it was an asshole for a referee, doing that in a bronze game in the olympics.. doesnt surprise me he was swedish (arab) strict mtf with no understandings. The referee standars has been very low at this olympics, but well i route for the cubano here, i dont give a damn for being political correct, nice kick - sucker deserved it!

He had to go by the rules so maybe he didnt deserve to get kicked, he had no choice and the cubano had to suite him self. If he hadnt called it, it would be ruling the other guy out against the rules. Im on the refs side, ban the cubano for life! He is a discgrace for the olympics!
