    Iran leaves Beijing with 5 [FIVE] medals!!!!

    apparently today Iran "shahkar" karde dar Wushu.
    we got a gold, and a bronze on the female side and a silver on the male side.

                          Wushu is another word for Kung Fu. and the Olympic started to accept this sport as an event in the olympics in 2008 and will also have it in the 2012 olympics as well.
                          For those people who said that this didnt count, here is the proof:

                            The IOC has yet to allow wushu as an olympic sport in future olympic games

                            However, the IOC allowed China to organize an international wushu event during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games called the "2008 Beijing Olympic Games Wushu Tournament." This event is NOT one of the 28 official Olympic sports which is why the medals don't count toward our official tally.

                              also, here is an article from USA today that says: "The Wushu Tournament Beijing 2008 kicked off Thursday at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium. Approved by the International Olympic Committee, but not a formal part of its Summer Games, the four-day tournament showcases the mother of all martial arts."
