I don;t know what Olympics you were watching, but I was watching Ehadadi get beat on inside by teams like Lithuania. Given that FIBA play is so much more of a finesse game than the NBA, and Ehadadi was getting overpowered in FIBA play, I see him being a complete defensive liability at center. He's tall and he has a decent shot, but in terms of post moves and finishing at the rim he's ridiculously weak. I don't have enough fingers to count the amount of times I saw him try to just push the ball into the basket and come up with a miss or even total air.

Ehadadi is seven feet tall and that's really all he has going for him. When he gets to the NBA this will be made clear.

I just don't see the point of getting a center who is an enormously raw project when the guy's already 23. Memphis has Marc Gasol, who has played at a higher level of play for longer and who is so much more physical. Why not develop him?

What role can Ehadadi serve to get decent playing time? Even if he makes the roster he's not going to do much.

Make sense, just wait for a Grizzlies-Clippers game and 1/3 of the spectators will be Iranians. Btw i wonder why they did not change the name of the Grizzlies when the team moved to Memphis, there is absolutly no Grizzlies in Tenessee, the only place where you can find grizzlies is western Canada.
