boxer Amir Khan loses title in 54 seconds

Amir Khan just lost his WBO intercontinental lightweight title to Colombian Breidis Prescott in just 54 seconds !!!

Damn those were 2 heavy punches that friggin knocked the wind out of the poor boy This was a real stunner in the 1st round.

A loss was coming someday, but surely not as humiliating as this. and this was Amir's Sky Box Office debut too

Well its a double-edged sword. His parents are from Pakistan, but he himself was born and raised in Bolton. If he had not represented Britain, they would have said he is turning his back to his country where he was born, bred, and has lived all his life through.

why is he a traitor to pakistan exactly? bolton born, bred, n trained by british coaches, using british facilities, with british funding. this isn't football, with boxing who you represent is everything....if he wasn't with britain he would be a nobody. welcome to the 21st century...the day's of immigration and integration and to say he is ashamed of his pakistani heritage is not true, he has numerous times repeated in his interviews that he is proud of his background and once even had the flag of pakistan on one leg of his shorts and the british flag on the other in one of his big fights. i applaud him for actually building bridges between communities, his heroics at the olympics at a tender age of 17 showed this. as you can see i am a big big khan fan, was gutted how he lost, i blame his agents for picking an opponent who had 15 K.O's under his belt...a tougher opponent required for this? yes. was prescott the man? no!

I was so gutted. Me (and my mum too) follow ALL of khan's fights but cos i fell asleep before the fight (long day, veeeery long gym session), my mum doesnt know yet, i watched it on the internet this morning....

but i blame his new coach. wtf is up with recommending that prescott guy?? khan's weakness is his chin and u throw him in with someone who pretty much thrives off winning fights by knockout. DUH!?!?!?!?!?! any idiot can see that its not a good mix. i just hope khan can come back from this
