African-Iranian is an incorrect term to describe him.
He is half African-American, half Iranian.
an African-Iranian is an Iranian of African decent (like many of those in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan).
btw even though it is a shame he doesn't seem to associate himself with his Iranian heritage it is hard to blame him, seeing as his Iranian father abandoned him and he probably has little/no contact with other Iranians.
btw 2, another half african, half Iranian is an actress in UK, a female who played in the more recent Dr Who.
Not bad looking either
I think half Ghanaian, there is an interview with Richard and Judy where she talks about her heritage.

u can't blame him for not wanting to rep his iranian side but i have a good feeling he'll reconnect with his father one day
he already made attempts to find him in Iran and call him and he's kept his last name. Also if u read the story you'll see it wasnt his father's fault much...he didnt know the mother was pregnant and they lost touch...then the mom moved away and this was in the 70s where people barely had phones so it was impossible to get a hold of someone u lost touch with....then the dad went to Iran for a visit and thats when revolution happened and he couldnt come back. So you see its not totally his fault...i think TJ should give his dad another chance.
