Im afraid you're wrong about deportivo. Last time you two met, Deportivo La Coruna kicked your ass twice so deportivo is also your daddy no doubt. I heard that after barcelona and arsenal, real and bayern munich together with ajax has the best academics.

Name one player like Raul who has played whole his life in Real Madrid and was brought up from real madrids youth academics and going through so much in his career (La Liga titles, CL titles, FIFA World club title, Copa Del rey title, EURO Supercup and Spanish supercups) and been so successful? Name one player from Bayern Munich who ever have producted such a class player like Raul?

baba jan, i said, it doesnt deserve much credit because all big teams buy young players with potential and make them who they are.
see, now we can say christiano ronaldo and man utd, but did christiano ronaldo actually come out of man utds youth academy??
wat about anderson?? wat about nani??

or chelsea with terry?? with lampard??

          or barca with ronaldinho??? etoo???

wat about van der vart?? real madrid?? hamburg?? ajax??? see...there is no clear answer!

it deserves partial credit, thats it. real madrid does buy young potentials around the world, just like any big team around the world. so its no big deal really. name me any top club in the world and i can give u a list of examples where these clubs have bought young players from other less popular teams and leagues and have now become popular. its nothing special really.

if these players were coming from real madrids youth academy, then madrid deserved credit, but to buy talents as soon as they start shining in the less popular leagues in my opinion doesnt deserve much credit.

that's the team that actually introduced the concept of youth academies in the first place under Sir Matt Busby. The amount of players that have become great players over the last 55 years from United's youth academy is staggering. I suggest you read about them.

A few names to mention that have emerged from United's youth academy over the past 55+ years and played for United:

Duncan Edwards, Bobby Charlton, George Best, Bill Foulkes, Mark Hughes, Norman Whiteside, Arthur Albiston, Sammy McIlroy, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, John O'Shea, Darren Fletcher, Wes Brown....not to mention the recent youngsters like Giuseppe Rossi, Gerard Pique, Rafael and Fabio da Silva, etc who joined United's academies.

It's Not too difficult to swallow this loss for bayern fans, as this only cost them 3 points and only a league game.
The 4-0 loss to Zenit was the worst IMO

                    GRACIAS PEP

as I said, the term 'youth academy' and 'youth development' was made at Manchester United in the 1950s under Sir Matt Busby's managerial leadership and his army of some great talent scouts spread across the British Isles back then clubs in England had to face some strict rules regarding non-British/Irish players in their squads and to be frank outside the natives of UK and Ireland, there were almost zero foreign players in their squads.

'If they are good enough, they are old enough.' - Sir Matt Busby

that time, he was only 19 (he is born in 1981) and isnt it ironic that this 19 year old bossed around figo and carlos from REAL MADRID AGAIN!! not surprising though...cos bayern are real madrids daddy!!

We will be your daddy so just shut up. Maybe Werder Bremen won the last time, but we also beat them at home atleast compare to bayerns 2-5 loss against the same opponent lol
