Memphis, September 17, 2008 – The Memphis Grizzlies will begin their eighth season in Bluff City by holding training camp at FedExForum with the first practice scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The Grizzlies will conduct their training camp at the practice facility from Tuesday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 4. The team is slated to conduct two-a-day sessions on Sept. 30–Oct. 3.

Wednesday, Oct. 1
10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 5–7 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 2

10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 5–7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 4
11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.



The Grizzlies will tip-off their eight-game preseason schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Houston Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Memphis hosts the Washington Wizards opener on the following night in their home preseason at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8. See the full calendar.

Grizzlies’ 2008-09 season tickets start at just $5 and 6,000 season tickets can be purchased at $10 or less online or by calling (901) 888-HOOP. Eleven- and 22-game Power Packs are on sale now and with the purchase of select packs, fans will receive a Grizz Circle K Gas Card worth up to $150 while supplies last. Individual game tickets will be sold in October.
