    Basketball Connections

    Hey guys,

I've been playing basketball since I was 6 and unfortunately I gave up soccer in order to excel in this great game. After playing with several clubs and school teams, it was always a dream of mine to play for the national team. So, I was wondering if any of you know any individuals that are in a organization so I could ask for information on how I can maybe join a club in Iran. I am definitely serious about this and I might make a video soon to show you guys.

party-baazi is not the way to go.

I'm not looking for party bazi my friend. Let me make that clear. When I say connections I was wondering if anybody here knows any information on clubs or people that are in the club itself. I'm not asking a person to take my hand and put me on the basketball court

one way is to send them a video of yourself playing.

I know a guy who wants to play for TM and he did that.

I'm not looking to go straight into the national team without being in a professional club there first. That would be asking for too much, but a video of course is a good suggestion

I'm 18 and I have played in every team in school leading up to varsity in high school. The clubs I have played for have been local or near my city. I don't have the time right now to compete and train with a traveling club but I do want to know information on any clubs in Iran for the near future. I've played in games in Iran where there have been scouts for clubs that have liked my game but I was too young then.

on the nojavanan level I used to play at "zafar shemiran" our coach was Vahid Abolhasani who is responsible for making me a Laker fan. He was later on coach of the javanan national team. I havent been in touch with anyone for a long time. If you are in Iran try to get a hold of him. I am sure he is still active. The club was in Tajrish. If you ask anyone over there, they know where it is. Its famous (ab miveh tochal is right about where the street is where the club practices)

You can also go to some of the club plays and see if you can talk to one of the coaches for tryout.

If your good then it shouldn't be too hard to make the national team....there is a player from Douglas college(a community college in vancouver) on the national team....If you live in the states or canada, then join a college team, its the best decision....recruiters will eventually contact you. Good luck!!
