    TJ houshmandzadeh...but wait a minute.

people say he isn't proud to be 1/2 iranian and ican fully understand that after what his father did. but if he isn't proud of it at all, why didn't he change his name then? i saw "iranians" in l.a. who canged their names into brian etc. and their last names too to some american names.

but t.j. has a complicated name from a father who let him down and apperently he doesn't like iran so why doesn't he change his name?

it's a cool name for a football player. He gets a lot of attention because of his name. He would be less famous if he was T.J. Smith.

He is one of my fantasy football WRs. He has been a bit erratic so far this season, but he is the go to guy in Cincy...

Only one way to find out:

present him with a bucket of southern Fried chicken and a plate of Chelo kabab .

                See which he goes for.

i think he actually said that the purpose was so he would stand out. His mothers name was johnson, so he would be TJ johnson, and he didnt want that.

                      It helps him stand out.
Wouldn't you be surprised if you saw some black dude and his last name was Mirfendereski or Iranparast or something along those lines?

he chose that last name to stand out...like ny said...

but all in all he knows the truth and no matter how much u deny your background, he still has IRANIAN blood running through his vains...
so im sure he has an interest and has been reading up on Iran....he also went very far to find his father in Iran and call him.....they've actually had several conversations...but he's still deciding whether he wants to meet him or not.
