They said today's game is a statement game for KOBE as far as the MVP award is concerned since wade and lebron had huge games.

with one minute left in the 3rd the lakers were leading by 13 points. then kobe went to the bench and only a few minutes into the 4th, with Kobe sitting on the bench the mavs outscored the lakers 17-2 and now lead by two.

do you want a statement larger than this??

EDIT: Amazing!! Kobe comes back in and the lakers outscore them by 11 points!!

He had the game winner with 6 seconds left!! It woulda been all over sports center as the game winner, then idiot jackson didnt ask his players to foul (they had a foul to give) and AI burried the jumper!

can't believe no one posted this... Carl Landry of the Houston Rockets was shot late yesterday morning. He was shot right when he got out of the airport in houston at 4:22 a.m. (after his game in new orleans)

Lebron is clearly playing like an MVP. Hopefully Kobe starts doing it too!

They say it was CP3 and Chandler, they followed him back to houston after the game in new orleans in the luggage shoot of the plane.

well, so far they say it was a gang initiation (random). where basically you bump a car from behind and when the driver gets out, shoot them. (this is practiced heavily with MS13) but i mean what do you expect.. driving in a maserati at 4:15 a.m. in the worst part of houston. poor guy was driving home from the airport and decided to take a shortcut

I strongly advise against that. Driving from LAX to the USC campus in a rental through the hood was a bad experience..let's say my eyes were not on the road as my head was down the whole time lol.

Well around my campus there are a lot of muggings and robberies and our area is not the worst in the city so I'll leave it at that.
