Freekicks, penalties, set pieces, headers, through balls, tap-ins, the odd screamer here and there. That boy scored every time he got the chance and he took it well. Just that he missed two penalties that could have costed us, but hey no hard feelings over them two as we won eventually.

and yes i was close. he scored 6 goals as a right winger. the rest came from penalties (5), free kicks (6), and the rest were from getting passes inside the box while playing as a forward. still impressive to score that many goals but not AMAZING.

oh and EPL defenders suck.

Ok let me get this straight. Messi came bak from a big injury and supposedly owned Ronaldo, wen Ronaldo led his team to Man Utd's 2nd straight EPL title and CL victory by being top scorer in both competitions.
Barcelona had a very shit season, Messi was top scorer, but Barcelona didn't go anywhere with his goals. Maybe he is better than Ronaldo, but even Torres scored more goals than Messi.

As they teach you throughout the years,
You don't neccessarily have to score to be a world class footballer

It's your vision , presence and awareness that should be measured.

Free kicks are very difficult to take at times and for him to be so good at it shows how talented the player is, for him to be able to score all those ways. 100% the award is him, 42 goals from a midfielder answers the question.

I would love Casillas to win it one day, but to be honest goalkeepers dont do much to keep clean sheets. It's the defense which is good, Man Utd had the best back 4 in the world last season, but when the ball went through them, we most of the time conceaded.
