The players of Spanish champion Real Madrid will receive a 2.5 million euro bonus if they consecutively win their next five matches.
The club's president Ramon Calderon reportedly proposed the reward to increase motivation among the players.
The scheme will provide each player with a 120,000-euro bonus.
"Last season we were the team with the most goals scored, the fewest goals allowed and we set a new record for points. And all of this happened only a couple of months ago, not 10 years," Calderon told the players and coaching staff at a team function on Friday.
Real must beat Recreativo Huelva, Getafe and Sevilla and win their upcoming two Champions League fixtures against BATE Borisov and Zenit Saint Petersburg for the players to secure the prize.
Real, which has been winless in its last three league matches, will take on Recreativo at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium later on Saturday.
