Former Brazilian striker Ronaldo has agreed to join Brazil's SC Corinthians Paulista after recovering from a serious knee injury.
"We've reached a verbal agreement for Ronaldo to play there (Corinthians)," said his agent Fabiano Farah on Tuesday.
According to Corinthians, negotiations between the two sides were at an advanced stage.
"In the next few hours, the two sides should provide the final formalities to close the deal and set a date for the presentation of the athlete," the Sao Paulo-based club announced on its website.
The three-time FIFA Player of the Year Ronaldo, 32, spent nine months on the sidelines after he suffered from a left knee injury playing for AC Milan in February.
The World Cup's top scorer has recently been training with the Brazilian club Flamengo to regain his fitness.
