gracias senor, 200 gold ur way (i dunno if that's a sufficient amount in "PFDC gold donating etiquette")

EDIT- just saw the fight and 2 things about it, 1) HELL of a fight, damn that was tight, i wish i stayed at the bar for that one and class act on the part of both guys, also 2) at the end of the fight, did you see franklin tell his coach to do pushups?? that coach is the owner of a boxing gym in the hood in cincinnatti that i worked out at when i worked in cinci, the guy was cool as hell and helped me out with my boxing game

^ Oh shit, he is going to fight Sokoudjou. Sokoudjou was my personal trainer back when he used to work at my gym.

wow that's cool. btw he recently beat Mark Hunt (which is huge because Mark Hunt has beaten some of the legends in MMA like Cro Cop and Wanderlei Silva)

In August he will fight Renato Sobral who is also another big MMA fighter and then your ex-personal trainer

anyways hope this guy gets promoted to UFC so I can watch him more.

I did Muay Thai for a few years.

People at the gym were telling me how he fought in PRIDE, but I never believed them.

One day I was working out at the gym, on the bag by myself, when one of the trainers at the gym was like hey do you want a free 30 minute personal training session with Terry (his English name)...and I agreed. It was his first time training using boxing/kicking pads, so he was just learning...but after that I bought a few sessions with him at low cost. He's a great guy, I even wanted him to be in my corner for my first fight, but they would only allow two trainers, which I already had.

Many big names are leaving UFC because they pay their fighters shit. So he could fight in UFC if he'd like, but I'm sure they are paying him more at Affliction.

Damn that's cool. I love Muay Thai especially when Anderson Silva uses his Muay Thai skillz

My parents have always made me do Taekwondo and I just got my red belt and I'm planning to get Black hopefully but it's really hard

I seriously want to do some MMA, not that I want to be a MMA fighter ever but just wanna experience it however I can't since because of where I live.

Oh yeah that's true. I heard Affliction is facing some finanicial problems and this might be their last event. I hope not because some of the events they put together like Fedor vs Barnett coming up is too sick! Also in UFC I heard you can't kick when on the floor and that is one reason other superstars from K-1 and etc don't want to join UFC.

You can learn and practice MMA where you live, but they won't sanction any fights. So search around and you will find gyms that train MMA. When I fought, the California boxing commission wouldn't allow us to use elbows and knees. But we trained extensively using those weapons.

Back in the day you could kick, bite, pull hair, do basically what ever the hell you wanted to do. It was basically an organized brawl. But after the leadership changed the rules so they can broadcast "The Ultimate Fighter" on Television, the UFC became very popular. In K-1 you are not allowed to kick the person while his on the floor either. I believe in PRIDE it is allowed.

Thanks bro. Hmm I just did some searching and apparently there is some MMA facilities here but in another city 2 hours drive away. Hopefully I'll get to go someday.

Lol, it's going to be a good fight to watch and I'm a big Fedor fan and I think it's stupid how everyone keeps saying what happens if he loses before evert fight he has since he has never lost. But Barnett is an amazing fighter and isn't no pushover and could pull an upset. Will be a great match-up.

Oh I think I mistook Pride as K-1.
