you have to pay extra, but it depends on your provider. i have comcast cable and we pay a reasonable price and we get FSC and GOLTV together along with a bunch of other channels. Direct TV (dish) is the other major provider, i'm not quite sure how it works. i think they get fsc for free but pay for goltv i dunno
