thabeet's had plenty of time, he's more like a power forward that is tall, his rebounding is very mediocre and NO offensive game, only good thing is maybe blocking, when they attack, they wont even pass the ball to thabeet unless if he's wide open for a dunk, that already limits the team alot. I cant ever see him being a starter in NBA, he's at best a back up. He just doenst know the game, compare the way haddadi sets screens and dishes out assists to this guy...
I agree that Haddadi is light years ahead of Thabeet with his offensive skill set. He is probably a better shooter and passer right now than Thabeet will ever become.

But the difference is that Thabeet is 2 years younger, is much newer to the game of basketball, is far more physically gifted, and has an enormous ceiling that is yet to be measured. Drafting him in the first place was foolish when they already had Gasol and Haddadi. But now that they've made that choice, it would be even more foolish for them to not find out what they truly have with this guy, which is why unfortunately Hamed doesn't get the minutes he probably deserves.

My whole point about the playing time situation is that despite what a lot of people think, it completely makes sense. It sucks for Hamed that he's stuck in the situation, but every single coach and franchise in the NBA would do the same thing the Grizzlies are doing if they were in the same position. So rather than complaining, as Iranian fans we should understand the situation, come to terms with the reality, and hope for the best for Hamed next year in a better situation.

with few games left to the end of the season, grizzlies have lost hopes of playoffs so these will be their last days and then they're off.

another year went by with haddadi getting limited minutes, although he's had an impact and made a name for himself but it looks like he's going to have to stay strong and go get ready for the world championship in August. I really hope he hasnt lost his confidence and touch after NOT playing for so long. It sucks that he spent his good years, 23 and 24 on the bench and not getting much action. Luckily he's still young but i hope they trade him cuz he has no future in grizzlies, i dont even think they'll give him playing time even if they get rid of thabeet.

what sucks most about his situtaion is that he does NOT have a REAL BASKETBALL AGENT! The guy who's his agent is son of JAVANAN magazine and he's more of a party promoter, so he's good at organizing parties and Iranian heritage nights but he has no connections to the NBA world and im sure he doesnt get as much attention and respect, thats why its hard for him to make a move for him.

yea they like to play small. The coach seems to want to match the other team instead of running his own game. If the other team goes small, then he goes small, and most nba teams nowdays are small.

He is very close to get a double-double against nuggets right now. 15min of playing time with 8pts and 7rebounds, but also 4 fouls already. good way to finish the season for him
