If Berlusconi (the guy who became PM just because he could save himself from some serious corruption charges) had not taken over a near-bankrupt and relegated Milan in the 1980s and brought in Van Basten, Rijkaard, Gullit etc heavens knows where Milan would have been without those European Cup and Serie A wins back in the 1980s and 1990s and those wins of 2003 and 2007.

u have to take into consideration the amount of injuries we had for that game and also are squad wasnt well built as it is now coz now we have more cover!! and dont try and say all that win was upto milans brilliance, coz frankly we played shit from all the fatigue we had, we where trying to go for the treble and we played in 4 cups (carling cup) so basically nearly all our main players had played for 4 cups and our injuries which included, vidic, Ferdinand (both heart of out defence that yr), saha, garry neville and a few more i think.

well if you want to say that then you have to realize why milan isnt in cl this yr. 2 years ago they won it and last yr had all the super cups and super games bla bla and they are an older squad so winning all those games competing in the cl and serie a was hard especially without nesta and gattuso injured most of the time
